Kimber Custom II 1911 04/17/2011
This Kimber Custom II 1911 45 caliber pistol was awesome to shoot. It had a skeletonized hammer and trigger with a one sided safety. It had the white 3 dot sights with a flared ejection port. When I first shot this pistol, it took me by surprise by the how light a trigger pull the Kimber had. It seemed like I barely touched the trigger before it fired. It took me a little while to get used to the gun as I was shooting as you can see by my first target (yellow target below). However, once I got used to the trigger, I started shooting a lot better, and I really enjoyed shooting this 1911. I had gone to the range with my dad this time when I rented it, and he actually really loved shooting it too. On a side note, he is finally starting to dislike his taurus now that he has shot this 1911. Anyway, I liked this pistol and it might be one that I add to my collection in the future. But at around $1,000, it is going to have to wait awhile. Grade: A CommentsLeave a Reply |
