My Springfield GI 1911 45 is about a 5 pound trigger pull, and I would guess the revolver is around 10 pounds or so. It is very difficult to pull the trigger on the revolver, but it is soooooo much easier to load.

The buckmark pistol has a super light trigger pull, but loading the little 22 ammo into the magazine is a pain in the ass. The one thing that was pretty cool on the buckmark was the front sight. The front sight was actually an open circle so you could see right through it and at the target.

But 22 shooting doesn’t really have much to do with aim more as it is to unload the pistol as fast as possible, and with that, I was actually surprised that I got a grouping on the target as well as I did (I suppose it is all that practice with my 45).

Grade = B+ Smith and Wesson 22 LR Revolver

Grade = B+ Buckmark Camper 22 LR

Rock Island Armory Tactical 1911 45

http://www.myprojectlife.com/3/post/2011/03/rock-island-armory-tactical-1911-45.html

http://www.myprojectlife.com/3/post/2011/03/rock-island-armory-tactical-1911-45.html#comments

Uncategorized

I had heard a lot of good things from the Internet on the Rock Island Armory 1911s. Even though they are reasonably priced compared to most 1911s, they are supposedly reliable and well manufactured pistols.
